Awaken Summer Connection Experience
One Wednesday each month this summer at 6:30 pm
June 10th, July 15th, August 12th
Welcome to Firestarter: a time of fellowship, sharing a meal together, discipleship, and connection. It will start at 6:30 pm and won’t have a set ending time. All are welcome, so bring a friend or make some new ones!
What To Expect…
Sharing a meal together! Awaken will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, or brats, and we’re asking those who are able to bring sides, such as chips, fruit/veggies, salad, or desserts
A short time of worship & reading of Scripture, followed by discussion questions around the firepits
An opportunity to fellowship with friends and get to know new people
Relaxed social experience - No time constraints, join us late or leave early!
No RSVP is necessary - just show up!
We believe community is important, so on other Wednesday nights throughout the summer, we’re encouraging people to host gatherings in their homes, at the church, or out in nature! This could look like the following:
Inviting another family or two over for a cookout and yard games
Planning a hike and inviting others to join you
Organizing a hangout at the firepits/playground at the church
