Men, we’re not retreating, we’re advancing! We’ll be meeting at Sheep Creek Lodge for a weekend of adventure, camaraderie, time with each other and with the Lord. This weekend is for college age men and up. Here are the details:
Cost is technically free, but it is your responsibility to:
Provide food or eat at the lodge. (We may bring grills or smokers for the two dinners - let Levi Thomas know if you’d like to help.)
Arrange lodging: either reserve a cabin at Sheep Creek or jump in someone’s camper. Cabins have multiple beds and are rustic. Let the group know if you reserve one and are okay with guys bunking in your cabin. Cabins are $95 a night but have multiple beds. You can bring a camper for $15 to park at the property.
Bring your own gear. Feel free to mix and match activities, i.e. shoot long-range in the morning, and go fishing in the afternoon during the pistol portion.
Activity options for Friday:
Half day long-range rifle, half day pistol (led by Levi Thomas, Upper Susanna Shooters Association)
Fishing at Montana Creek Campground (great trout, salmon, and grayling fishing)
Hiking Ermine Hill (definitely not a hill!). Trailhead is an hour from the lodge, take approximately 4 hours to complete, awesome view of Denali
Contact Levi Thomas at 307-689-9784 for further details and to confirm attendance!
