Weekly Prayer Time

Join us on Wednesdays from 12 - 12:30 pm for a time of prayer for God's anointing on Awaken Church as we do all that we can to fulfill the Great Commission. We will be praying for opportunities to share the Good News and for boldness when those opportunities come along. If you are not experienced in prayer or are intimidated by the thought of having to pray in public, don't worry! We will not be putting you on the spot. Just come and participate!

Acts 2:42  "All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals, and to prayer."

You're invited to join us at our table for the 31st Annual CPC Spring Tea, "Tailgate and Tea with Pam Tebow", held at ChangePoint. As you probably know, Pam Tebow is the mother of famed football player and outspoken Christian, Tim Tebow. Pam loves to encourage women and men with her story of God's faithfulness to her family through trying times, particularly in her refusal to abort her son Tim when she was advised to do so.

And yes, men are invited, too! You'll enjoy a dynamic live auction, a beautiful silent auction, and some great moments with friends, relaxing around the tailgate.  ChangePoint is offering childcare if we RSVP by April 10th and donations for the workers are welcomed.

If you'd like to attend, please send an email to awakenanchorage@gmail.com and let us know if you need us to RSVP for childcare as well!

Making the Case for Life

It’s so important that we can articulate well why preserving LIFE is so important.

As Christians, we know Scripture is clear that God knew us before He formed us in the womb. Many times, though, even among other Christians, that falls on deaf ears.

Join us and others in the community for an evening with Dr. Marc Newman to learn how You Can Make A Case for LIFE.  Dr. Newman is president of Speaker For Life, a training firm dedicated to equipping people to speak to those they influence about LIFE.

A light dinner will be served at 5:30PM.

Please RSVP by emailing us at awakenanchorage@gmail.com.
